Yannick MARANDET

He is an expert in the physics of the interface between hot fusion plasmas and material walls, and is a member of the scientific committees of the two main conferences in this field.
He has co-authored 151 publications and has an H-factor of 20 (Google Scholar). His work has been carried out within the framework of ANR-funded projects (in particular the SEDIBA project, for which he acted as PI) and Euratom funding.
Yannick Marandet has regularly given several courses at Master 2 level, has directed/co-led 5 theses and has regularly given courses at summer schools.
He has also been director of the Magnetic Confinement Fusion Research Federation (FR-FCM) since 2015. The FR-FCM coordinates magnetic fusion research at national level, with participants in over 45 laboratories, covering fields ranging from applied mathematics to structural component metallurgy.
